Position Overview: 

Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of contract based projects to ensure successful project completion according to budget and timeline. Manage all aspects of material supply for assigned projects through project completion, including coordinating product for order and supply, proposing/writing/supplying change orders, handling project issues, and communicating with contractors.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Organize and align all project information and requirements for successful project progression and supply by date required

Communicate regularly with contractor by phone or email

Set project timeline and required dates for material supply

Complete field verification and attend job site/project meetings

Arrange the supply of products and materials for contract projects according to specifications, approved submittals, and required dates

Review product status and remain up to date on project status to ensure required dates and billing requirements are met

Write, price, and submit change orders that address contractor/owner requests or issues

Problem solve with contractor or colleagues on project issues, changes, etc. and provide ongoing product and application knowledge and support

Provide superior customer service and continue to develop and strengthen professional relationship with contractor



2 yr or 4 yr degree in Construction Management or related field with minimum 4 years applicable experience; or 6+ years construction industry/project management experience

Excellent oral/written communication skills-Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database software

High level of interpersonal skills and customer relations skills to handle a variety of situations

Position continually requires demonstrated professionalism, adaptability, flexibility, and dependability

Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service and handling complaints, settling disputes, negotiating terms/pricing, and resolving various issues

Critical thinking and problem solving skills to identify and evaluate complex problems, review related information and develop solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems, determine the best approach or option and implement solutions

General knowledge of mathematic applications
