KENDELL's Response to COVID-19

To our Trusted Partners,

During this time of uncertainty, KENDELL is concerned about the safety and well-being of our families, team members and partners.  While the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation remains very fluid and seems to evolve on a daily (or even hourly) basis, the health and safety of our teams is the first priority.

We are exercising the recommendations of the CDC and the Department of Health, continuously monitoring the spread of the virus, and are anticipating the impacts on our vendor and client partnerships.

Please take a moment to review how we are addressing and planning for impacts as related to COVID-19.

  • Convert office teams to remote working environments.

  • Direct sick employees to stay home.

  • Suspend all non-essential business travel.

  • Require a mandatory 14-day self-quarantine for staff returning from any international travel.

  • Limit visitors into our facilities and reduce material pick-up from facilities and delivering/shipping to customers where possible.

  • Limit jobsite and customer site visits, requiring a call ahead to understand the current protocol and ensure the site is following all CDC recommendations.  Scheduled site visits are reported to and reviewed by Management.

  • Require KENDELL team members visiting sites to understand and follow all site protocol prior to arriving.

  • For team members in office, practice social distancing, limit meetings/huddles, complete daily cleaning routines regimen, and distribute cleaning wipes/hand sanitizer throughout all work areas.

  • Provide timely and relevant COVID-19 communication to advise our staff of any new information and policy updates.

  • Daily review of supply chain and jobsite statuses and communicating action plans if impacted.

  • Request notification from our End Users, Architects, and General Contractors of any project changes that will affect schedules and delay shipments.

We are continuing to operate in the best interest of our teams and communities.  Our commitment is to keep you informed as this dynamic situation evolves and we will communicate if additional measures are necessary.

Please feel free to reach out to me directly with any questions.

Sincerely,

John Katter
